We source certified solid SS 316L round bar stock. The "L" designation (Low Carbon) is vital as it prevents carbide precipitation, maximizing the steel's resistance to corrosion from industrial chemicals and harsh cleaning agents.
The steel bars are fed into our automated Traub single-spindle lathes. The machines rapidly form the outer diameters and drill the primary internal flow channel. This automated process ensures high repeatability for bulk B2B orders.
While still in the lathe, hardened steel knurling wheels are pressed against the rotating part under high pressure. This cold-forms the metal, displacing it into a sharp, diamond-patterned grip that provides excellent tactile feedback for hand-tightening.

Knurling can create microscopic burrs. We subject the fittings to an electrochemical polishing process. This removes all micro-burrs, deeply cleans the threads, and forms a highly passive, shiny chromium-oxide layer for maximum rust resistance.
Knurls are visually inspected to ensure they are sharp and fully formed. Threads are checked using calibrated ring/plug gauges. The components are then securely packed in moisture-proof export cartons to protect the precision surfaces during transit.
